Der Rennabbruch w\u00e4hrend der Top 12-Session hatte zur Folge, dass die Ergebnisse des Qualifying in die Meisterschaftswertung einflossen. Fluch f\u00fcr die einen, Segen f\u00fcr die anderen.<br \/>\nDer Brite Paul Bonhomme, der als F\u00fchrender nach Las Vegas gereist war, rutschte durch seinen 7. Platz im Qualifying auf Rang 3 der Gesamtwertung, der \u00d6sterreicher Hannes Arch, extrem stark im Training, aber nur F\u00fcnfter in der Qualifikation, bleibt weiter auf dem gesamten 2. Rang, mit f\u00fcnf Punkten R\u00fcckstand auf den F\u00fchrenden.<\/p>\n<p>Wenn es am 25. und 26. Oktober in Spielberg zum Finale an den Start geht, ist Nigel Lamb aus Gro\u00dfbritannien der Gejagte im Kampf um den WM-Titel. Seine \u00e4rgsten Verfolger Hannes Arch und Paul Bonhomme werden alles geben, um ihm die Krone streitig zu machen. Und noch einer will vorne mitmischen: Der Deutsche Matthias Dolderer war zuletzt im Aufw\u00e4rtstrend, beim Qualifying in Las Vegas gelang ihm sogar der dritte Platz und damit der erste Sprung aufs Treppchen in dieser Saison.
