Das gaben die Verantwortlichen der schnellsten Motorsportserie der Welt heute in Salzburg bekannt. Das dritte Rennen des Jahres wird am 30.\/31. Mai in Rovinj\/Kroatien ausgetragen. Rovinj ersetzt damit den Stopp im russischen Sotschi, der aufgrund von un\u00fcberwindbaren organisatorischen und finanziellen Herausforderungen nicht ausgerichtet werden kann.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8222;Wir h\u00e4tten das Red Bull Air Race gerne nach Russland gebracht, aber die aktuelle Situation auf den internationalen Finanzm\u00e4rkten macht es unseren Partnern in Russland unm\u00f6glich, eine qualitativ hochwertige Infrastruktur und gleichzeitig erschwingliche Ticketpreise f\u00fcr unsere Fans anzubieten\u201c, sagt Erich Wolf, General Manager des Red Bull Air Race. \u201eUm eine reibungslos verlaufende Saison mit acht Rennen zu garantieren, mussten wir jetzt handeln. Wir hoffen jedoch weiterhin, in den n\u00e4chsten Jahren ein Rennen in Russland ausrichten zu k\u00f6nnen.\u201c Positiv hingegen sehe Wolf die R\u00fcckkehr nach Rovinj, wo im vergangenen Jahr ein spektakul\u00e4res Rennen vor begeisterten Fans ausgetragen wurde.<\/p>\n<p>Die acht Stationen umfassende Red Bull Air Race Weltmeisterschaft 2015 startete Mitte Februar in Abu Dhabi und geht am 16.\/17. Mai mit einer Premiere in Japan (Chiba) weiter. Nach Rovinj in Kroatien folgen weitere Rennen in Budapest\/Ungarn (4.\/5. Juli), Ascot\/Gro\u00dfbritannien (15.\/16. August), Spielberg\/\u00d6sterreich (5.\/6. September), Fort Worth, Texas\/USA (26.\/27. September), und Las Vegas, Nevada\/USA (17.\/18.
