Zum ersten Mal gastiert die Red Bull Air Race Weltmeisterschaft in Japan.<\/p>\n<p>ServusTV \u00fcbertr\u00e4gt den Showdown der schnellsten Motorsportserie der Welt am Sonntag, den 17. Mai ab 6:45 Uhr und zeigt die Entscheidung live!<\/p>\n<p>Chiba, bekannt als \u201eStadt der Blumen\u201c, z\u00e4hlt zu den zw\u00f6lf gr\u00f6\u00dften Metropolen des Landes. F\u00fcr die Piloten des Red Bull Air Race ist das Rennen in der Bucht von Tokio aber weniger \u201eblumig\u201c sondern eher eine knallharte Herausforderung. Geflogen wird diesmal wieder \u00fcber dem Meer \u2013 und es bedeutet h\u00f6chste Konzentration, den Kurs aus Pylonen fehlerfrei und in der schnellsten Zeit zu durchfliegen. Das Meer ist tief und hinter der Bucht kilometerweit offen. Die Pylonen des gesamten Rennkurses m\u00fcssen mit 80 Millimeter dicken Stahlseilen und bis zu einer Tonne schweren Ankern befestigt werden, damit sie dem starken Wellengang standhalten und ein Durchfliegen erm\u00f6glichen. Die Piloten brauchen ihre gesamte Erfahrung und Fitness, um zu bestehen.<\/p>\n<p>Der Brite Paul Bonhomme f\u00fchrt nach dem Rennwochenende in Abu Dhabi das Gesamtklassement der Red Bull Air Race Weltmeisterschaft vor Matt Hall (AUS) und Pete McLeod (CAN) an. Angreifen lautet also die Devise von Hannes Arch, Matthias Dolderer und dem aktuellen Weltmeister Nigel Lamb (UK). Dieser war mit seinem f\u00fcnften Platz beim Saisonstart in Abu Dhabi \u00e4u\u00dferst unzufrieden. Wer jubelt nun in der \u201eStadt der Blumen\u201c?<\/p>\n<p>Gegr\u00fcndet 2003 und seit 2005 die offizielle Weltmeisterschaft des Air Racing, wird das Red Bull Air Race weltweit von Millionen Fans verfolgt. In der schnellsten Motorsportserie der Welt treffen die 14 weltbesten Piloten in einem Motorsportwettkampf der Extraklasse, in dem Geschwindigkeit, Pr\u00e4zision und Geschick \u00fcber Sieg und Niederlage entscheiden, aufeinander. Die Piloten navigieren ihre \u00e4u\u00dferst leichten und extrem man\u00f6vrierf\u00e4higen Rennflugzeuge nur wenige Meter \u00fcber dem Boden durch einen Parcours, der aus 25 Meter hohen aufgeblasenen Pylonen besteht. Seit 2014 neu im Programm ist der Challenger Cup.
