Den Sieg sichert sich Paul Bonhomme (GBR). Rang drei ging an den US-Amerikaner Kirby Chambliss. Zwei Strafsekunden im finalen Lauf kosteten Arch am Detroit River, der Kanada und die USA trennt, den Sieg.<\/p>\n<p>WINDSOR (CAN). Vor 215.000 Zusehern \u00fcberschlugen sich im Finale die Ereignisse. Arch raste mit der schnellsten Zeit der gesamten Rennwoche (1:07:31 Minuten) durch das Zielgate der mit 15 Pylonen ausgesteckten Rennstrecke. Doch vor der finalen Schikane brummten die Rennrichter dem 41-J\u00e4hrigen \u00d6sterreicher zwei Strafsekunden (Incorrect Level) auf.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eEs war teilweise extrem windig und der Kurs \u00fcberhaupt sehr schwer. \u00dcber die Strafsekunden will ich mich nicht mehr aufregen. Es hat mich so oder so erwischt. Es war aber mit Sicherheit extrem knapp. Ich vertraue den Judges aber. Diese Saison wird wohl wieder bis zum Ende starke Nerven verlangen. Diese habe ich definitiv\u201c, war Arch mit der verteidigten WM-F\u00fchrung und dem zweiten Rang im letzten \u00dcbersee Rennen zufrieden.<\/p>\n<p>Bei Sieger Bonhomme stoppte die Uhr bei 1:08:16 Minuten. Ohne Penalty w\u00e4re Arch 45 Hundertstel vor Bonhomme gelegen. Der mit einem neuen Motor ausgestattete US-Amerikaner Chambliss lag in 1:10:19 Minuten (ink. 2 Strafsekunden) klar zur\u00fcck und wurde Dritter. Einen rabenschwarzen Tag erlebte Nicolas Ivanoff. Der Franzose flog fr\u00fch aus dem Bewerb und b\u00fc\u00dfte in der WM-Wertung Punkte ein.<\/p>\n<p>Arch f\u00fchrt die WM-Wertung mit 33 Z\u00e4hlern nach drei absolvierten Rennen vor Bonhomme (32 Punkte) und Nicolas Ivanoff (FRA\/24 Punkte) weiterhin an. <strong>Das n\u00e4chste Rennen findet am 19.
