Den Sieg vor 50.000 Zuschauern am Rennwochende an der ber\u00fchmten Corniche von Abu Dhabisicherte sich mit der Winzigkeit von 0,003 Sekunden Vorsprung derWeltmeister von 2017, Yoshihide Muroya aus Japan.<\/p>\n<p>Abu Dhabi, UAE \u2013 Sichtlich entt\u00e4uscht war Matthias Dolderer nach seinem fr\u00fchen Aus und Rang elf bei der ersten Station der Red Bull Air Race Weltmeisterschaft 2019 in Abu Dhabi. \u201eDas geht so schnell, aber dass es jetzt schon wieder passiert, ist frustrierend. Die Zeit war aber auch so zu langsam, vielleicht haben wir ein falsches Gemisch eingestellt\u201c, so der Deutsche, der als bislang einziger Pilot in der Geschichte des Sports den WM-Titel bereits vor dem Saisonfinale sichern konnte und zweimal die DHL Fastest Lap Trophy gewann. Der Weltmeister von 2016 haderte schon die ganze Woche: \u201eDas war sehr holprig hier mit dem neuen Regelwerk, insbesondere mit der neuen 11G-Regel. Aber ich bin immer zuversichtlich und will beim n\u00e4chsten Mal fehlerfrei fliegen. Der Japaner verwies im Final 4 in 53,780 Sekunden Weltmeister Martin Sonka aus der Tschechischen Republik mit einem Vorsprung von nur 0,003 Sekunden auf Rang zwei. Dritter wurde der WM-Dritte von 2018, Michael Goulian aus den USA (54,009). Muroya hatte bereits das Qualifying am Samstag gewonnen, bei dem in dieser Saison erstmals seit 2010 wieder WM-Punkte vergeben werden, und f\u00fchrt somit mit der maximal m\u00f6glichen Punktzahl von 28 (25 f\u00fcr den Rennsieg und 3 f\u00fcr den Sieg im Qualifying) das WM-Gesamtranking vor Sonka (22) und Goulian (21) an.
